This report by the UKDPC considers the most recent and relevant evidence to help inform the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs 2008 cannabis classification review. It concludes that there is no compelling evidence that would require the Advisory Council to change its 2006 recommendation to keep cannabis classified as Class C.
