Description

Health Protection Scotland (HPS) was established by the Scottish Executive to strengthen and co-ordinate health protection in Scotland. HPS came into existence on 11 November 2004.
The HPS Weekly Report contains current news and articles as well as surveillance reports covering the following topics: gastrointestinal infections, respiratory infections, AIDS and HIV, vaccine preventable and childhood diseases, travel medicine, sexually transmitted infections, environmental health and healthcare associated infections.
