18/04/2008 - West Lothian DAT have compiled a Digest of key documents and tools they have used to implement outcome commissioning. Prior permission to reproduce any of the tools in the document is not required, however West Lothian DAT would be grateful if appropriate acknowledgement is given. The team are keen to gather feedback about the resource, therefore please do get in touch with DAT Policy Officers if you do wish to use any of the documents. Sample documents and tools are available for use in word format.

21/02/2008 - West Lothian's outcome framework originated from the Dundee Alcohol and Drug Action Team and was developed as a means to implement outcome commissioning in the ADAT area. To download a copy of the framework see dat_outcome_framework_2008-2011. We would be grateful if you could seek permission from West Lothian and Dundee ADATs before reproducing in your area. 30/05/2007 - West Lothian DAT launch a new campaign to tackle cocaine misuse - Feeling Flush Cocaine Campaign (see press release) - which aims to provide vital information on the health risks associated with cocaine use through the use of a campaign poster [PDF 356 KB] and the distribution of credit card sized handouts [PDF 1525 KB] in pubs and clubs in the West Lothian area.

West Lothian DAT has released an updated Directory of Services for people affected by substance abuse - for more information see press release [PDF 68KB] and Directory [PDF 1027KB].

West Lothian DAT launch their 3-year strategy - A Plan of Substance [PDF 1.1MB] - to tackle drug use, smoking and excessive drinking between 2005-2008. For more information see the press release [PDF 100KB].

West Lothian DAT Launch a New Community Engagement Initiative - Everything You Need for A Good Night Out - the campaign consists of an A5 leaflet [PDF 285KB] targeting young women and their attitudes towards binge drinking. For more information see the press release [PDF 9KB].

A new community engagement campaign "the trouble with.....". The campaign consists of 4 cinema slides covering solvents, cannabis, tobacco and alcohol and a short-life year-long information website. For more infomation see the press release.
